Frame Porcelain blinds

To complete this tutorial you need:

Plug-in NVR Bordermania get it Here!

Plug-in Fantastic machines-Paint Engine get it Here!

Plug-in Xero get it Here!

Plug-in VM Toolbox get it Here!

This silver pattern, rightclick and save it to your harddrive.

Don't forget to save often.

Let's begin *S*.

1}Open up the image you would like to frame.
Duplicate by keeping down the Shift+D key, close your original.
Go to /Selections/select all/selections/float.
Go to Effects/3D effects/Cut out with these values:

Deselect/Selections/select none.

Choose two colors from your image what you like to use and add this to your swatches in psp8 or adjusted colors in psp7, by this way you won't forget the colors :), and you are going to need them.

2}Select the darkest color from your chosen color and set it as your background color, go to/Image add border/add a new border of 1 pixel sym.checked.

3}Swap your background color to White and add a new border of 4 pixels, select this border with your magic wand and floodfill with the silver pattern or any other color you like as long as it shines *s*, keep it selected and go for /Effects/Bordermania/Frame2# with these settings:
Border width =5
Frame width =5
Leave the rest as it is and apply.
Deselect.

4}Repeat step 2.

5}Swap your background color to White and add a new border of 20 pixels sym.checked.
Select this border and floodfill this border with your second color {the lightest one}, go to/Effects/Fantastic machines/paint engine with these settings:

Keep selected and go to/Effects/Texture effects/Blinds with these settings:

Keep selected and go than to/Effects/3D effects/Inner bevel with these settings:

Apply the Blinds effect again!
Go than to Effects/Xero/Porcelain and apply with the standard settings.
Deselect.

6}Repeat the steps 2+3 and again step 2.

7}Swap your background color to your second chosen color {the lightest one}and add a new border of 30 pixels sym.checked.
Select this border and apply again the paint engine with the same values as in step 5.
Go to /Selections/selections float go to/Effects/3D effects/Cut out with these values:

Deselect.
Repeat the steps 2+3 and again step 2.

8}Go to /Selections/select all/Selections/Modify/Contract by 39 pixels.
Again go to/Selections/selections Invert.

9}Go to/Effects/VM toolbox/Instant tiles and apply with the standard values.
Deselect.

10}Repeat the steps 2+3 and again step 2.

11}With your background color set to the second color add a new border of 15 pixels sym.checked.
Select this border, add the Blinds effect from step 5 {just apply} and the Innerbevel from step 5 {again just apply}.
Add the Blinds effect one more time.
Apply the Xero plug-in again.

12}Repeat the steps 2+3+2 again and you are done!
